WASHINGTON, DC – Eight trade associations representing the financial services industry including the American Bankers Association, America’s Credit Unions, Association of Military Banks of America, Bank Policy Institute, Consumer Bankers Association, Defense Credit Union Council, Electronic Payments Coalition, and Independent Community Bankers of America, sent a joint letter to Senate leaders opposing the inclusion of credit card mandate legislation by Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) and Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) in the FY2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
