The Electronic Payments Coalition fact-checked a politically motivated report focused on credit card reward programs issued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Despite misleading claims in the accompanying press release and statements made at a joint CFPB and Department of Transportation (DOT) hearing, the report clearly shows the value of earned rewards has increased over the years.
