The undersigned state bankers associations, representing banks of all sizes from across the country, wrote to express their support for H.R. 5465, a bill that would repeal the so-called “Durbin Amendment” and eliminate the government-imposed price controls on debit card interchange, which has greatly harmed consumers and the banks that serve them.
