EPC Names Aaron Stetter as Executive Director

| Electronic Payments Coalition

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Electronic Payments Coalition (EPC) is pleased to announce the addition of Aaron Stetter to EPC’s leadership team. Aaron will serve as the coalition’s Executive Director. This appointment comes as EPC continues to expand its advocacy efforts to support commonsense policies that ensure consumers and merchants have access to a secure and reliable payment system.

Most recently, Stetter served as Executive Vice President of Advocacy and Strategic Engagement of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA). He previously served as EPC Chairman of the Board from 2015-2016.

Stetter joins EPC Chairman of the Board Jeff Tassey to lead EPC’s advocacy efforts to shape the future of electronic payments, promote consumer protection, and foster a secure and efficient payments ecosystem.

“EPC is excited to announce the addition of Aaron Stetter as Executive Director,” said Jeff Tassey, EPC Board Chair. “Aaron is a well-known leader in the banking industry with a long track record of delivering policy results. Under Aaron’s leadership, we’ve had tremendous success demonstrating to Congress the Durbin Amendment’s failures for consumers and small businesses. EPC members are excited to welcome another great leader to our team and look forward to our continued work to strengthen electronic payments.”
